Do you wring your hands in the voting booth? Do you struggle to know what to stand for? In the Faith & Politics episode of the Single Christian Women Speak Podcast, we reveal ways we are affected by politics, whether we see it, understand it, or want to be affected by it. We also take a short history lesson on some American women who stepped forward in the world they lived in and made a difference in society. See if you recognize them or are affected by their actions today.

Engaging in deep conversations with others in the church can be challenging when you know you hold different beliefs on political issues. It's important to respect each other's viewpoints without dominating the conversation or surrendering our own. Hear an insightful suggestion on how to overcome that obstacle.

Are you influenced by your favorite entertainer’s endorsement of a political candidate, or do you feel guilty if you still enjoy their talents but disagree with them? Debbie responded to my question and explained, “What’s going on out there in world affairs, national affairs, state affairs, local affairs, I really think you need to ask God through the Holy Spirit to open up your eyes to what’s true. And then stand for it. Do not be afraid.”

Do you feel unqualified to vote? So, how do we get to the truth about each candidate so we can confidently place our vote? Debbie gives an answer that shoots straight to the core: “You have to do a lot of homework. You have to be willing to do the work.” Then, she explains even further. Listen to hear what she says.

If you know deep down in your heart that your vote could have more research behind it, this podcast is for you.

It’s time to head to the voting booth, and single women should educate themselves to make their own wise decisions at the ballot box. In this episode, the listener will hear ways to get educated. You will gain inspiration to take the initiative to cast your vote and make your voice heard. Other women cleared many paths we walk on today, including the one that leads to the voting booth. Be responsible with your vote and invest in your future.
